Study No.1 2009
Brief Encounters 12, ANZA Club, Vancouver, May 19-21, 2009 Study No.1 was an experimental collaboration with contemporary dancer Ziyian Kwan. The parameter for the project was an intensive 14-day working period of first, an introduction to each other's creative practices, and then secondly, finding a common ground to produce a new work together by the 15th day. The result is a time-based video/dance performance with the theme of tooth loss standing in for memory, loss, and mortality.
